Cathy Halligan

My name is Cathy Halligan. I became a full time Maryland resident in 2006. I have had a home in Ocean Pines since February 2000. I am married and have three children, two boys and one girl. I have two grandchildren and a step son Brendan.

I have been taking pictures since grade school. I remember being fascinated by my father's box camera.. My very first camera was a Polaroid Swinger. The fact that I am still taking and now selling my pictures, doesn't surprise my family and friends at all. It is an obsession with me.

My love for photography became more serious when I was in the Air Force. It seemed we all loved to take pictures and we learned from each other.

When I retired from the medical field, in 2006, I was able to give photography my undivided attention. If I am not out taking pictures, I am studying how to take better pictures.
