Call to Artists

Feature your art in a private or group show. The Globe is interested in local artists to display in The Balcony Art Gallery. If you are interested please send an artist bio, and several .jpg images of your work to jen@globetheater.com. Please send images in a smaller format if possible (650px wide 72dpi). If this is not possible, send one at a time.
At this time The Globe is hosting themed art shows about every six weeks. Some past examples are, "Food Glorious Food," "ocean","Humanity Unveiled: A Celebration of the Human Body". We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for new show ideas.

Bill and Debi Rolig are great friends of The Globe family, highly talented artists, beaming parents and super supportive members of the arts community. Just before Christmas they learned Bill has aggressive prostate cancer. When they were told Bill's cancer is not treatable by standard protocols they found an integrative treatment option that offers the best way to manage his disease. As a means of generating income enough to pay for this treatment, the Roligs have reduced prices and make their collection available and The Globe has offered Gallery space with no commission.



At this time The Globe is ONLY accepting two dimensional artwork. All work MUST have a wire for hanging and a label on the back denoting the title, genre, artist and asking price. WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT A WIRE. It is a 70/30 split between the artist and The Balcony Art Gallery with 30% of the total price going back to The Balcony Art Gallery.

We are inviting artists to set up shop upstairs in The Balcony Art Gallery, complete a project of their choice over a two day period, preferably a Saturday, Sunday from 12-2 and interact with our guests. Artists are welcome to sell work over as well. If interested please email jen@globetheater.com.
